GREAT job on the game and making it enjoyable. I also have the beta version on my tablet and it is awesome so far but there is tons of bugs with the item frames and the camera add on. So please fix those things, and with the add on and the ender pearls please make it so you can go to the end, I would really enjoy that and this would be my favorite game all time that I own if you would do that.
THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME GAME!!! If you enjoyed Minecraft: Pocket Edition on iOS or Android, you'll definitely enjoy this release. Although it is missing much functionality from the PC version, it is still an oddly pleasing hybrid between the desktop and mobile versions. One of my favorite features in the Windows 10 Edition would have to be the flexibility with controls. If you use a two-in-one laptop, you can easily switch between touch screen mode, and mouse and keyboard mode. Thankfully, the interface is not too tedious to use, and works well with both modes.
Although there are many bugs and/or missing features, bear in mind that this IS just the beta, and that they'll be adding more features in future updates. Remember, this is not a replacement to the java (or desktop) version of Minecraft; rather, it is a nice addition to the Store, and (in my opinion), a bit of an experiment on Mojang/Microsoft's part. I think anyone who enjoys casual play of the Pocket Edition will really enjoy this game.
+ XBox enabled + Windows platform multiplayer + SUPER easy connection for friends + Redstone!!! + Great nitpicking details + It's Minecraft!!
+ REALLY low price + Prepared for every type of controlling. And many more!! For the details, I would like to say, what is so nice - like when you hit a squid, it makes a black ink cloud and swims away!!! And, there are snow particles falling through leaves of trees in winter biomes. And some others. Achievements give some meaning to casual players as well. This version of MC is the best ever!!
While this is still a beta, it supports a lot of pretty good features. For someone like me who likes to always use a controller, this is the first time it has been possible on a PC version. Touch controls are also a welcome addition, finally letting me play easily on my Surface. Seamless switching also makes this easier. I also found massive optimization additions. On my Surface Pro 3 (8 gigs of ram, dual core i5) I could only play Minecraft on 'modest' settings (turning all effects options off, render around 10) and get 60 fps. However, in this version, I can easily turn everything up with easily acceptable gameplay.
